BRIEF HISTORY

1989 - The Bugle Inn Motor Company was established by Andrew Turner and expanded rapidly within the used retail motor industry, quickly incorportating servicing within the operation.

1994 - an association developed with Nissan Motor GB and we continued to grow. In less than four years Chorley Nissan proudly became the largest volume, single Nissan dealer in the United Kingdom.

1999 - further expansion into Preston with the acquisition and launch of Chorley Nissan Preston dealership at Strand Road, and the opening of Chorley Group's purpose built head office facility at the existing site in Chorley.

2001 - Chorley Group takeover the existing Nissan dealer in Wigan (formerly Pierdrive), now Chorley Nissan Wigan.

2004 - Chorley Group grow again, with the takeover of the former Walker Farrimond site in Burnley, now Chorley Nissan Burnley.

2006 - a site is acquired in Blackpool on Amy Johnson Way near to Blackpool Airport, and Chorley Nissan Blackpool is established.

2008 - the company expands with the introduction of the Fiat Franchise in Blackpool. Also on Amy Johnson Way next door to our existing Nissan dealership - Chorley Group Fiat is established.

2009 - further developments at our site in Blackpool follow, when we launched Kia and Hyundai dealerships in May 2009. Our Blackpool Motor Park starts to take shape.

2010 - Chorley Nissan Burnley receive Aftersales approval for the Fiat approved repairer, enabling Burnley to be able to do all service, repair and warranty repairs for Fiat as well as Nissan.
